Boulder/Rifle Colorado

Last week we spent some time in Boulder Colorado the temperature was at a record high so we didn't get to spend too much time climbing. We were able to spend an afternoon bouldering on Flagstaff mountain which despite the heat was a lot of fun. Here are some pictures from boulder:

After spending some time in Boulder we headed to Rifle Mountain Park in Colorado. It was a beautiful drive through the Rocky Mountains on I70. Rifle is an world class sport climbing destination with a high concentration of really steep, difficult limestone climbing. Easy camping, short approaches and hundreds of routes make Rifle a climber's paradise. We have been climbing in Rifle for the past three days, unfortunately we haven't really taken any pictures because it has been unseasonably rainy. We will stay in Rifle for a week or two to get enough time to work all the routes we want to. Here are a couple pictures we took of the canyon to show everyone how beautiful the rock is!
