Castleton Rock

Monday we wrapped up our last day of rope climbing in Rifle, we had a great time but decided it was time to adventure to new places. Our next planned destination was Arches National Park just outside of Moab, Utah. We decided to take the scenic route off I-70 to check out the amazing Fischer and Castleton Towers. The scenery was stunning, with the immense red sandstone cliffs and the unique geology of the area. All these towers are famous for their traditional routes and we will be excited return and climb them in the future. Here are some pictures from Rifle and from Castleton:
